Terms
The deal, in plain terms
Last updated 1 September 2026. Scaffold is free, run by one person, and these are the terms you accept by using it.
What Scaffold is
Scaffold is a planner for students, built and run by Mia Sachdev as an individual. It is offered free of charge. There is no paid tier, no trial that expires, and no payment details to hand over.
Your account
You need an email address and a password. Keep the password to yourself, since anyone holding it can read and change everything in the account. Tell me at miasachdev15@gmail.com if you think someone else has got into your account.
One account is meant for one person. You are responsible for what happens under yours.
What you put in
Your entries stay yours. Putting them into Scaffold does not hand me any ownership of them, and I do not claim a licence to publish or reuse them. The one thing you must not do is use the app to store anything illegal, or anything you do not have the right to hold.
What you should not do
Do not try to reach another person's data, break the row level security, hammer the servers with automated traffic, or resell access. If an account does any of that I may close it.
What Scaffold does not promise
Scaffold is a planning tool, not a guarantee that work gets done. It suggests dates and orders tasks, and those suggestions can be wrong for your situation. Check anything that matters against the deadline your school gave you.
The app is provided as it is. I do not promise it will be available at all times, that it will never lose data, or that it will suit any particular purpose. Keep your own record of anything you cannot afford to lose.
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for missed deadlines, lost marks, lost data, or other losses that follow from using or not being able to use Scaffold. Nothing here removes rights you have under consumer law that cannot be signed away.
Ending it
You can stop using Scaffold whenever you like, and email me to have the account and its data deleted. I may close an account that breaks these terms, and I may shut the service down entirely, in which case I will give notice at this address first so you can get your data out.
Age
Scaffold is built for students, and younger students are welcome. If you are under the age at which you can agree to terms where you live, have a parent or guardian read this with you.
Changes
These terms can change. The date at the top will change with them, and carrying on using the app after that means the new version applies.
Law
These terms are governed by the law of the place I operate from, and disputes go to the courts there.
